Bailey's French Buttercream Frosting
Recipe: Bailey's French Buttercream Frosting
1 cup butter softened to room temperature
1 bag of confectioners' sugar (2 lbs)
1/4 tsp of salt
2 tsp of vanilla extract
4 Tbl of Bailey's cream liqueur
Put all items in your mixer bowl. Beat on slow speed until you have all ingredients mixed in; otherwise the powdered sugar will go flying. Once all items are incorporated, mix on medium-high for 2 minutes until fluffy.
The frosting will be a light coffee color.
This makes enough frosting to frost any of the Zola Miracle cakes and leaves enough extra to decorate the cake and/or fill the hole left in the middle of a tube cake pan. Alternatively, if you want to fill the hole with something other than frosting, you can fill it with something edible that goes along with the cake -- fresh fruit, marshmallows, coconut, and pecans all work.
