Ginger Carrot Cake

Recipe: Ginger Carrot Cake



    1 carrot cake mix
    2 tsp powdered ginger
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp ground cloves


    Follow the directions for making the carrot cake. (This means you?ll need the number of eggs and the oil and water the cake mix you choose asks for.) While the cake is mixing, add the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Pour the mix into a 9 X 13-inch pan or two 8-inch square pans. Bake according to the instructions on the box.

Serving Suggestions:

    Cut into squares to serve. I suggest you serve this with the pumpkin ice cream (see recipe) or you can choose any ice cream in the grocery freezer that sounds good to you. Flavor suggestions: honey, caramel, vanilla.
